in Walker, the newly erected Minnesota
Fishing Hall of Fame will serve as
a center for the preservation of Minnesota's
rich fishing heritage. A section of
the building will be devoted to each
inductee, which will offer a video
presentation about each individual
and will contain graphics, pictures
and memorabilia related to the honoree's
career.
In
addition, the Hall of Fame will feature
a Minnesota Record Wall, interactive
fishing games, film presentations,
seminars and a library/theater. If
you visit the rest of our outdoor
campus, you will find a 230 x 130
foot Fishing Hole with thousands of
biting sunfish, and numerous shops,
outlets and stores tailored to serving
the fisherman and their families.
Open
to the public, the Hall of Fame will
offer visitors the opportunity to
take a free, self-paced tour of the
facility and become acquainted with
these legends of fishing as well as
many other aspects of our state's
fishing industry.
